Scholars Hub is committed to making our platform accessible to as many users as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.
What we're doing
- Using semantic HTML throughout our pages
- Ensuring colour contrast meets WCAG AA ratios
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content
- Making all interactive elements keyboard-accessible
- Using ARIA labels where appropriate
- Supporting browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content
Known limitations
We are aware of the following areas we are actively working to improve:
- Some complex data tables in the dashboards may not be fully navigable by screen reader
- PDF reports generated by our system have limited screen reader support — we are working on accessible HTML alternatives
- Some interactive charts use colour alone to convey information
