1. Who We Are

Scholars Hub is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under UK GDPR. Our ICO registration number is published on our Privacy Policy page.

2. What We Do — Feedback Only

The platform provides AI-generated feedback on academic writing submitted by users. Feedback covers structure, argument, academic tone, and citation guidance. It is intended to help users develop their own writing skills.

What the platform does NOT do:

• Write essays, paragraphs, or any academic content on behalf of users
• Complete assignments or any part of an assessment
• Provide contract cheating services of any kind
• Guarantee any academic outcome, grade, or result
• Submit work on behalf of users

3. Eligibility — Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this platform. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent before using Scholars Hub. By creating an account or submitting an essay, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Academic Integrity — Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for complying with your institution's academic integrity policies, regulations, and guidelines regarding the use of AI tools and writing assistance services.

By using Scholars Hub you acknowledge and agree that:

• The feedback provided is a learning tool only and must not be submitted as your own work
• You must reference any use of AI tools in your submitted work as required by your institution's academic integrity policy
• Scholars Hub is not responsible for any finding of academic misconduct made against you by your institution
• You will use the feedback solely to develop and improve your own writing

5. Prohibited Use

• Submitting essays on behalf of another person for the purpose of that person passing off the feedback as their own
• Using the platform to facilitate contract cheating, essay mills, or any similar service
• Attempting to manipulate the AI system to generate submittable academic prose
• Providing false information during sign-up, including false age declarations
• Submitting content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Using the platform if you are under 18 without parental or guardian consent

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any essay or written content you submit to the platform. By submitting content you grant Scholars Hub a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your feedback report.

Your essay content is used solely to generate your feedback report. It is not used to train AI models, shared with third parties for commercial purposes, or retained beyond the processing and delivery window specified in our Privacy Policy.

All platform content, branding, software, and feedback report templates are the intellectual property of Awrex Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Payment & Refunds

All payments are processed via Revolut Merchant. Scholars Hub does not store payment card details. In the event of a technical failure preventing feedback delivery, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.

For refund requests, contact info@scholarshub.co.uk within 7 days of your submission.

8. Data Processing & UK GDPR

Scholars Hub processes your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Your essay content is processed solely to generate your feedback report. It is deleted within 90 days of your submission date. Full details of how we collect, use, store and delete your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

Feedback provided by Scholars Hub is educational in nature and does not constitute professional academic, legal, or any other form of regulated advice.

Scholars Hub is not liable for:

• Any finding of academic misconduct made against you by your institution arising from your use of this platform
• Any inaccuracy in AI-generated feedback, including unverified citation suggestions (all AI-suggested citations are flagged for independent verification)
• Any loss of academic standing, grade outcome, or assessment result
• Any interruption to service beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you in connection with your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific submission or subscription period giving rise to the claim.

10. Freedom of Speech

In accordance with the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023, Scholars Hub's AI feedback does not penalise, filter, restrict, or down-score content on the basis of viewpoint, political opinion, or the expression of controversial or challenging ideas within lawful bounds.

If you believe any feedback you have received has unlawfully restricted your lawful academic expression, you have the right to challenge it. Contact: info@scholarshub.co.uk

All challenges will be acknowledged within 24 hours and reviewed within 5 business days.

11. Changes to These Terms

Scholars Hub reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Where changes are material, registered users will be notified by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of the Scholars Hub platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
